Lenovo has released a smartphone with a whopping 4,000 mAh cell. Called the P70, it is said to last up to 34 days on standby using 2G. It goes down to 30.5 days on 4G and 29 days on 3G, which is still a feat only achieved by feature phones these days.

The Lenovo P70 packs a 5-inch IPS touchscreen of 720p HD resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 chipset with an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz and a 700 MHz MaliT760-MP2 GPU. There is also 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage on board. Imaging-wise, it comes with a 13-MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5-MP front-facing unit. It supports LTE and dual-SIM functionality. Available in only one color - midnight blue - the smartphone measures 142 mm x 71.8 mm x 8.9 mm and weighs 149 grams. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and costs about $220.
