Christina Aguilera has finally launched a new single called Change. This marks the first time the singer releases a mainstream song after her seventh studio album Lotus, which was released in 2012. This does not count collaborations like Say Something with A Great Big World, Feel This Moment with Pitbull and Moves Like Jagger with Maroon 5. Also not counted are soundtracks like We Remain from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti with Alejandro Fernandez from La Tempestad and songs from concept albums like Anywhere But Here from Finding Neverland.

As expected, her fans got very excited upon hearing the news and eagerly bought her new single, catapulting it to the top of the iTunes chart. Christina said in an interview that 100% of the proceeds from US download sales will be donated to the victims of the gruesome Orlando massacre through the National Compassion Fund. Christina has been very vocal about her support to the LGBT community and has called on her fans to continue praying for the families of these victims.

In other news, Christina recently headlined the 2016 Mawazine Festival in Morocco, where she drew a record 250,000 crowd estimate.

Recently, at the finale of The Voice Season 10, Alisan Porter won the competition, which made Xtina the first female coach to ever win The Voice. Past female coaches include Shakira and Gwen Stefani. Next season, there will be two female coaches: Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus.

Christina Aguilera also made a surprise performance with Ariana Grande at the finale days after her botched tribute to the late Whitney Houston was leaked.

Speaking of The Voice, before the horrific tragedy in Pulse night club, The Voice alumni Christina Grimmie was shot by a deranged fan. She was just 22. Known to many as a YouTube star and The Voice Season 6 finalist, Grimmie also considered herself a #Fighter and was really a big fan of Christina Aguilera. Here's what Xtina had to say after learning of her untimely demise:

Christina Aguilera will return for Season 10 of the Emmy-winning singing competition The Voice, along with Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams this coming February 2016.

Christina also sat down with the Today Show's Natalie Morales sharing her philanthropy work with the World Food Program. In fact, she recently went to Ecuador to offer support to struggling and hungry children and also had the opportunity to connect with her roots. Christina's father was from Ecuador and it was the first time for her to visit the country. Christina has been a volunteer global spokesperson for Yum! Brands' World Hunger Relief since 2009 and has visited countries such as Rwanda, Haiti, and Guatemala.

Meanwhile, Christina also discussed how yoga is serving as inspiration for her upcoming album. She said that "the physical and mental exercise is helping her find inner peace, and that's influencing her music-making process". She also revealed that she's been loosely working on her record for a couple of years already and is planning to release it next year. And it's not just one album that she plans to release. In her recent interview at the Today Show, she said that she plans to release 2 new albums, one of which is a new Spanish album.

In other news, Christina will also be teaching singing and voice lessons online via MasterClass, taking her The Voice coaching skills a notch higher. Lastly, here's a video of pop sensation Ariana Grande paying homage to the one and only Christina Aguilera, doing her best impression of the latter at the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. The Voice Season 8 is finally over, crowning Sawyer Fredericks as its winner. But before the winner was announced, The Voice had released a short video of Xtina doing impressions of artists she "loves and admires," supposedly auditioning as coaches for The Voice. Those include Cher, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Shakira, Miley Cyrus and Sia. Check out the super hilarious video below. Her Cher and Sia impressions were definitely spot on while those of Britney and Shakira were so funny.

During the 3-hour finale, The Voice coaches also performed "The Thrill is Gone" as a tribute to the late B.B. King. Xtina literally killed the final part of the performance.

Still at The Voice finale, Christina had worn a creation of Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco. Look at how perfect the dress fit her. She even had a photo op with Kelly Clarkson, who also performed at the show's finale.

And here are some of the beautiful ensembles Christina rocked towards the latter part of The Voice Season 8. Some were absolutely gorgeous.

While doing The Voice, Christina still managed to appear on Live with Kelly and Michael. The episode was taped at Disneyland in California. On the show, Xtina talked about how she loves Disneyland and Minnie Mouse, being a Mouseketeer with Justin & Britney, her kids Max and Summer Rain, and who she thinks would win The Voice (and she got it right!).

Christina has also released a new ballad entitled Anywhere But Here, which is from the album Finding Neverland. It is a Broadway musical about the man behind Peter Pan. Other contributors to the album include John Legend, Jennifer Lopez and Jon Bon Jovi. Check out Christina's emotional rendition of the ballad from the lyric video below:

Lastly, if you haven't seen Pitch Perfect 2 on cinemas yet then you should. At the credits part of the film, one of the cast members auditioned for The Voice Season 8. When he got a four-chair turn, he couldn't contain his excitement that he almost crushed Christina Aguilera while hugging her.

Christina Aguilera, together with Rascal Flatts, rocked the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACMs) 2015, performing her Nashville single Shotgun live for the first time and followed it up with the latter's country music hit Riot. Their performance was met with praise from both the audience and reputable websites likes Billboard, Cosmopolitan and CNN. The most salient part was probably when Rascal Flatts lead vocalist Gary LeVox introduced Christina to the audience in Dallas, Texas.

It was Xtina's first time to attend the ACMs, which also happened to be the award show's 50th anniversary, drawing a record number of live and TV audience. Here are more photos of Christina Aguilera before and during her moment on the stage:

Back to The Voice Season 8, Christina Aguilera and her team participated in The Voice Tailgate and as you can see from the photos, they were all having so much fun. She's down with three finalists, hoping that all three of them makes it to the Top 10. They are India, Rob and Kim.
