Xolo Launches the Q2000 Android Phablet

Budget smartphone-maker Xolo has officially announced the Q2000 phablet, which is a mid-range Android device with a 5.5" 720p HD screen. This puts it directly in competition with the Samsung Galaxy Mega, LG G Pro Lite, and the Nokia Lumia 1320. The Q2000 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and sports a 1.2 GHz MediaTek quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. There's also 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

The Xolo Q2000 packs a 13-MP rear camera with LED flash. The camera app features scene detection and tuning, HDR, face recognition, vertical and horizontal panorama. It has a 2,600 mAh battery pack that offers up to 17 hours of talk time on 2G and 12 hours on 3G. It measures 156 mm x 77.8 mm x 9.8 mm and weighs about 180 grams. It is priced at INR14,999 or about US$240.
