Android-Powered Nokia X2 Goes Official
The Android-Powered Nokia X2 has just been announced. It is successor to the original Nokia X smartphone. Powered by the Nokia X Platform 2.0 UI, which is based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the Nokia X2 has most of the day-to-day apps and features you need. The Nokia X2 has grown larger and heavier, measuring 121.7mm x 68.3mm x 11.1mm and weighing 150 grams. It's quite reasonable as it now packs a bigger 4.3" ClearBlack display. The resolution however is still 800 x 480 pixels, resulting in a relatively low pixel density of 217ppi. There is also a new Home button located next to the Back button under the display.Under its hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset with a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 CPU and 1GB RAM. It has 4GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card. At the back of the X2 is a 5-MP autofocus camera with LED flash. There's also a front-facing camera for selfies and Skype calls. In terms of connectivity, there's Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and dual-SIM card slots offering dual stand-by. The battery of the Nokia X2 is rated at 1,800mAh.
