HTC has officially announced the HTC Desire 620 in Taiwan, days after it first leaked. The said midrange smartphone will have two versions: the Desire 620, which will feature LTE connectivity and a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, and the Desire 620G, which will not have LTE support and will be powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor.

Both HTC Desire 620 variants will have a 5-inch display of 720p HD resolution, an 8-MP primary shooter, a 5-MP selfie camera, 1GB RAM, 8GB of expandable internal storage, dual-SIM capabilities, and a 2,100 mAh battery. Both smartphone will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with HTC Sense 6 UI on top.

The HTC Desire 620 and Desire 620G will go on sale in Taiwan this December 2014. The LTE model will cost $225 while the non-LTE variant will be more affordable at $160. There is no information yet on their international availability.
