Meizu Blue Charm to Challenge Xiaomi Redmi

The most affordable smartphone in the Meizu lineup for 2015 has just been unveiled. It's called the Meizu Blue Charm, which is a smaller and less powerful version of the Meizu Blue Charm Note (M1 Note). With its $112 price tag, the Blue Charm is seen as a direct competitor to the Xiaomi Redmi line of smartphones.

The Meizu Blue Charm packs a 5-inch 720p HD display, powered by a quad-core Cortex A53-based MediaTek MT6732 running at up to 1.5GHz. There is also a 13-MP rear camera, and a large 2,610 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with the Flyme 4 UI on top. The Meizu Blue Charm is set to be released on February in China and will roll out to other countries months after.
