Samsung Galaxy A7 w/ 6.3mm Thin Metal Chassis
Samsung has unveiled the largest member of its A series smartphones - the Galaxy A7. It's actually a phablet, packing a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display of HD resolution. Available in single SIM and dual-SIM models, the former is powered by a 32-bit octa-core Exynos 5430 SoC while the latter is equipped with a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC. Both variants will have 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. A 13-MP camera can be found at the back while a 5-MP selfie cam is on front. Cat. 4 LTE connectivity is also supported. There's 2,600 mAh battery inside and the Galaxy A7 runs Android 4.4 KitKat with the TouchWiz UI on top. An update to Android 5.0 Lollipop is already in the works.Image by Samsung |
