The Dunk Test: iPad mini VS Nexus 7 VS iPad 3rd Gen

Aside from Android Authority, the guys from Square Trade also tested the iPad mini and the Google Nexus 7. Not only did they conduct a drop test but also a dunk test. Yes, putting them in the water. Scary, right?

So let's see who wins the drop test?


Well, it seems that from the 3 tablets, the Nexus 7 has sustained the least amount of damage, making it the winner. This result varies from the drop test conducted by Android Authority, which crowns the iPad mini as the winner.

Now we move on to the more interesting part, the dunk test! It's not so uncommon that guys accidentally drop their devices in puddles of water or maybe in swimming pools or perhaps the ocean, or unluckily, the toilet bowl. So let's see which device stands that test of King Neptune.

As you all saw from the video, the iPad mini is clearly the winner. The Nexus 7 stopped working while the recently discontinued iPad 3rd Gen had some hardware issues.
