LG V10 Offers Dual Screen & Dual Front Cameras

The LG V10 is a unique smartphone that comes with flagship specs, dual screen, and dual front cameras. It is actually a phablet that measures 8.6 mm thick and weighs in at a hefty 192 grams. The V10's primary screen measures 5.7 inches and has a Quad HD resolution. That translates to a pixel density of 513 ppi. For added protection, the display is covered with Corning's Gorilla Glass 4. Its secondary screen measures 2.1 inches and has a 160 x 1,040 resolution. It is located above the main display and it will show information such as time, weather, date, battery status, and more. It also serves as a shortcut bar to open your favorite applications. It can be "always on" and you can receive phone calls or read text messages on it while watching a video on your primary display.


Humming inside the LG V10 is a 64-bit hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. It can accommodate microSD cards of up to 2TB capacity. In terms of imaging, it has a 16-MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, OIS 2.0, laser auto-focus, and dual-tone dual-LED flash. In front, dual 5-MP cameras can be found, which allows the user to take 120-degree wide-angle selfies. The V10 is also capable of shooting 4K videos with manual controls and a Wind-Noise filter for clearer audio.

Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, USB 2.0, GPS, and LTE-A. It also features Hi-Fi DAC and a fingerprint scanner built into the power button. A 3,000 mAh removable battery will keep its lights on and it runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box with the latest LG UX on top. And thanks to its silicon-like Dura Skin coating, the LG V10 provides protection from scratches and gives the user a better grip. Its MIL-STD-810G Transit Drop Compliance will protect it from accidental drops.

The LG V10 will be available in Space Black, Luxe White, Modern Beige, Ocean Blue and Opal Blue, and will be available in Korea this October 2015. It will soon be offered in the United States, China, the rest of Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. It will cost about $600+ off-contract.
