Nokia 515: The Premium Feature Phone

Nokia has launched another feature phone, this time it's the Nokia 515. This phone is said to be a “classic mobile phone” made with premium materials such as anodized sandblasted aluminum, Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection, and comes with a 5-MP camera, which we seldom see on phones from this tier.

The Nokia 515 sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display with LCD 262k technology. It has 256MB of flash memory and a microSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 32GB. There's also Bluetooth 3.0 on-board, a 3.5mm AV connector, and the ability to work with micro-SIM cards. The phone will come in two variants, one with a single micro-SIM card slot, the other with Easy Swap Dual for 2 micro-SIM cards. Its 5-MP camera will have the ability to take 100-degree Panorama photographs as well as Sequential Shots (five frames in a row, choosing the best of the set) and Self-Portraits.

Finally, according to Nokia, this feature phone can handle as much as 10.4 hours of talk time and up to a whopping 38 days on standby. For now, the Nokia 515 is only slated for Europe at 115 euros. It will be available Q3 of 2013.
