Lenovo Unveils 64-Bit Tab S8 w/ Intel Atom CPU
Lenovo has unveiled its 64-bit Intel Atom-powered tablet called the Tab S8. It packs an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 283ppi. This puts the tablet in direct competition to the iPad mini (with Retina display) and some of Samsung's 8-inchers. As mentioned, a 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom ticks inside Lenovo's newest tablet. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and optional LTE connectivity. At the back of the Tab S8 is an 8-MP primary shooter with f/2.2 sensor, and a 1.6-MP front-facing camera can be used for selfies. The Lenovo tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and will soon be updated to Android L. Everything will be powered by a battery that can last for 7 hours. It will retail for $199, which makes it a very affordable option.Image by PhoneArena |
