Archos Announces More Helium Smartphones & Tablets
Aside from the 50 Diamond that Archos is releasing early this year, the French consumer electronics manufacturer has unveiled three more smartphones and another three tablets, all to be showcased at this year's CES.

These three new smartphones are the 45B Helium 4G, the 50B Helium 4G, and the 50C Helium. The 45B Helium 4G has a 4.5-inch touchscreen display of 854 x 480 resolution. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, 512MB RAM, 4GB of expandable internal storage, a 5-MP rear camera, and LTE connectivity. I must say that these specs are really disappointing for a 2015 model smartphone. Next up is another LTE-enabled smartphone called 50B Helium 4G. It has better specs with its 5-inch 720p HD display, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and an 8-MP primary camera. Last but not the least is another entry-level smartphone called the 50C Helium. It has a 5-inch touchscreen display of 854 x 480 resolution. It packs a MediaTek MTK6732M SoC and a 5-MP rear shooter. All three smartphones have dual-SIM support.

The three Archos 4G-capable tablets are the 70 Helium 4G, the 80B Helium 4G, and the 101 Helium 4G. The 70 Helium 4G has a 7-inch display of 1024 x 600 resolution while the 80B Helium 4G has an 8-inch display of 1280 x 800 resolution. The 101 Helium 4G has a 10-inch 1280 x 800 resolution. All three tablets pack a MediaTek MTK8732 1.5GHz SoC, 1GB RAM, 8GB of expandable storage, and a VGA-quality front camera. The two smaller tablets packs a 2-MP rear facing camera with LED flash while the 10-inch tablet comes with a 5-MP rear camera with LED flash. Their batteries are rated at 2,500 mAh, 3,600 mAh, and 6,500 mAh, respectively. There is no information yet on their pricing or international availability.
