Garmin has introduced the sequel to the original VivoFit, which is the VivoFit 2. Introduced at this year's CES, the VivoFit 2 is said to have a battery that can last 1 full year. It is also water resistant up to 164 feet. Among the things that it can do is to alert you when it is time for you to get up and move. A backlight also allows the wearable to be useful in the dark, and the activity tracker will analyze your workouts. You can set personalized fitness goals, and track the amount of calories that you've burned. It will be offered in various colors and is priced at $129.99. It will be available in the first quarter of 2015. A version with a heart rate monitor will cost $169.99.
