The Samsung Galaxy A9 has gone official in China and it is the largest and most specc'd out device in Samsung's A-series of smartphones. Built with metal and glass, the premium looking Galaxy A9 boasts a 6-inch AMOLED display of 1080p Full HD resolution. Ticking inside is a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage.

In the imaging department, the Galaxy A9 comes with a 13-MP primary camera with a wide f/1.9 aperture, LED flash, and optical image stabilization (OIS). On front, an 8-MP selfie snapper could be found. In terms of connectivity, the Samsung phablet is also well-equipped. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, and LTE connectivity. A fingerprint scanner can also be found under the home button, which comes with Samsung Pay support. A large 4,000 mAh battery will keep its lights on and will also support Qualcomm's QuickCharge. The Galaxy A9 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with the latest iteration of TouchWiz on top. It is available in white, gold, and pink color variants. Pricing and international availability have yet to be announced.
