Fitbit Blaze: Smartwatch w/ 5-Day Battery Life

Fitbit unveiled a new smartwatch at this year's CES. It's called the Fitbit Blaze and is mainly targeted to fitness enthusiasts. The smartwatch packs a color LCD touchscreen encased in a rectangular frame. Like many smartwatches, it features heart rate monitoring, sleep and activity tracking, and offers call and text notifications. Connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, it also requires GPS connection to supply relevant positioning data when running or biking. Data will be displayed via the SmartTrack application.

The Fitbit Blaze offers a 5-day battery life and a charge time of 1-2 hours. It is also said to rain, sweat, and splash-proof though no exact IP rating was given. It will come with an elastomer wristband in either Black, Blue or Plum but you can also get leather or stainless steel straps at an extra cost. The smartwatch will ship in March 2016 with an SRP of $199.95.
