Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) Gets Announced

Samsung has updated its entry-level Galaxy J1 smartphone by releasing a 2016 model. First unveiled in Dubai, UAE, the Galaxy J1 (2016) comes with a larger 4.5-inch display of a paltry 480 x 800 pixel resolution. Under the hood is a quad-core Exynos 3475 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage. It also comes with a 5-MP rear camera with LED flash and 2-MP selfie camera.

Connectivity-wise, LTE is now standard. The Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) also has a larger 2,050 mAh battery. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with TouchWiz on top. It is set to retail for $135. Interested?
