The Huawei G9 Lite is now out and is the more affordable version of the flagship P9 smartphone. It packs a 5.2-inch display of 1080p Full HD resolution. Ticking inside is a midrange octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset with 3GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with the EMUI on top.

When it comes to imaging, the G9 Lite sports a 13-MP Sony-made primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash while an 8-MP secondary camera can be found in front. The Huawei G9 Lite measures 146.8 mm x 72.6 mm x 7.5 mm and weighs 143 grams. A 3,000 mAh battery will keep its lights on.

With an official price tag of $260, the G9 Lite offers good specs at an affordable price. It is currently only available in China but may soon be available in Europe and Asia. It will comes in three color options: dark grey, light grey, and gold. Any takers?
