HTC Introduces the Desire 500 to Europe

The recently announced HTC Desire 500 has made its way to Europe. First to arrive in the United Kingdom, it will be available to several European markets as well. Aside from the regular version, the HTC Desire 500 will also have a dual-SIM variant.

The HTC Desire 500 is powered by a Snapdragon 200 chipset with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. It packs an 8-MP rear camera with a dedicated HTC ImageChip processor, f/2.0 28mm lens and a 1.6-MP front-facing camera. It has a 4.3" WVGA LCD display and 4GB of internal storage. Unlike its HTC One cousins, it will have a microSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 64GB. Along with HTC's BlinkFeed and Beats Audio, the Desire 500 will also feature Video Highlights - a 30 second video reel of your images. Its battery capacity is 1,800 mAh, which is good for up to 12 hours of 3G talk time.
