The Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch
Timepieces with smartphone capabilities are not something new but it is not until Sony introduced the LiveView smart watch that they started gaining traction. While no one knows if smart watches are really something one would need, other developers have already cashed in on the trend. Now we have Samsung coming up with a brand new smart watch called the Galaxy Gear.

The Samsung Galaxy Gear sports a 1.63-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 320 x 320
pixels. It will be
powered by an 800 MHz single-core Exynos processor with 512MB RAM. It will also have a 1.9-MP camera with BSI sensor, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity.

It can capture low-resolution photos as well as 10-second-long 720p HD videos, which are saved on the 4GB on-board memory. Any shot you take
with it automatically gets uploaded to the smartphone or tablet if
paired. The Galaxy Gear has its own gallery too, but you don't get to
browse your complete gallery just the shots that are uploaded on the
watch itself.

Til then...
