An Apple iPad Air Burst into Flames

A brand new iPad Air suddenly burst into flames in one of Vodafone's retail stores in Canberra, Australia. The fire reportedly started at the charging port, setting the whole iPad Air on fire and filled the entire Vodafone retail store with smoke.

The fire department was called to put the fire out and later an Apple rep visited the store to collect the device for further inspection. No one was hurt during the incident. Do you think this iPad Air burst into flames because of a factory defect or a design flaw or caused by something else?
