Samsung and HTC Devices Delisted for Cheating
Futuremark has removed the
performance scores of several Samsung and HTC devices from its
benchmark database. These devices have been suspected of
altering their behavior during testing, which is a simple case of cheating.

The delisted devices from the Futuremark scoreboard include the
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (Octa), Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (S800), HTC One,
HTC One mini, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition (Octa), and Samsung
Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 (S800).
Samsung is known to optimize
the overall performance of its handsets on various benchmarks by boosting the GPU and
CPU clocks up to 100% once you start certain benchmark apps.
