Sony Brings 4K Video Recording to the Xperia Z2
The Sony Xperia Z2 is a quick follow-up to the 2013 Xperia Z1 flagship. The Xperia Z2 now has a larger display than its predecessor, a more powerful
camera, and the newest Qualcomm processor to back it up. It is still waterproof though. Users will be rolling with a 5.2-inch Full HD display
with Triluminos technology as well as Sony’s own Live Color LED powered
by X-Reality for mobile.

Sony touts the Xperia Z2 as the "world’s best camera
and camcorder in a waterproof smartphone." It packs the same 20.7-megapixel Exmor RS for mobile CMOS
image sensor as well as a Bionz for mobile image processing engine but now the camera works with a G Lens and the ability to capture 4K
resolution video. You will be rolling with SteadyShot technology
for smooth video capture and a number of Sony-unique camera apps. There is also the new Timeshift video feature and a new AR effect.

Sony also claims that the Xperia Z2 is the "world’s first
smartphone with digital noise-canceling technology." Ticking under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core
processor. This includes four 2.3GHz Krait CPUs, Adreno
330 GPU, and the ability to connect with 4G LTE. There will be 3GB RAM alongside a
3,200mAh battery. The Sony Xperia Z2 will be launching in March of 2014 globally. There is no information yet on official pricing.
