Meizu M3 Max Announced in China

The Meizu M3 Max phablet has just been unveiled in China. It packs a large 6-inch display of 1080p Full HD resolution, which is nearly bezel-less. Ticking inside the metal-clad smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 3GB RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. It runs the Flyme OS, which is based on the very dated Android 5.1 Lollipop .

When it comes to photography, the M3 Max sports a Sony-made 12-MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5-MP secondary shooter. Connectivity-wise, it uses the USB Type-C port and comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. A meaty 4,100 mAh battery will keep its lights on. The Meizu M3 Max will retail for $255.
