Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 Now Seeding to the HTC One

Good news to all owners of the (then flagship) HTC One smartphone! The global roll-out of the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 update has already begun. Last July 6, the new firmware upgrade was released in many European countries, with the exception of UK, Ireland, and Spain. But don't worry! It's finally available in the three countries mentioned. Users of HTC One will now experience Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 on their beloved smartphone.

The size of the update is a huge 416.5MB so better use a Wi-Fi connection to save on data plan. Below is the official changelog:
  • Android 4.2.2 update (includes Daydream, Photo Sphere, lock screen enhancements)
  • Launcher bar enhancement
  • Widget panel rearrangement
  • New Lock screen style widget
  • Enhanced Home button behavior
  • Home button options added to make navigation menu bar removable
  • Show battery level in status bar
  • Quick settings panel: 12 default settings by new touch gesture
  • AE/AF lock feature: Lock Exposure/Focus on viewfinder screen
  • Zoe: New Zoe file format for better file management
  • Video Highlights: Add 6 extra themes
  • Music channel: Seeks, fast forward/rewind functions added
