Microsoft Lumia 638 Launched in India

Microsoft has also brought the Lumia 638 in India. It runs Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan and sports a 4.5-inch LCD with ClearBlack display and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC with 1GB RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage. When it comes to imaging, the Lumia 638 is equipped with a 5-MP rear autofocus camera. It does not have a front-facing camera so Skype video calling is a no-go. Connectivity-wise, Cat 4 LTE is supported. The smartphone is powered by 1,830 mAh battery.

Priced at just $130, the Lumia 638 is one of the few affordable, 4G-capable smartphones in the market. It retails exclusively on the newly-launched Microsoft Store on Amazon India and has already started shipping.
