Hiyas is a restaurant that offers modern Filipino comfort food, located in a commercial building inside Brgy. Kapitolyo. It's near the Ace Water Spa building. It's among Kapitolyo's countless restaurants that offer Filipino cuisine but with an ambiance and menu that are not easily forgettable.

The restaurant can
probably accommodate about 20 or so individuals. The space is quite limited so it easily gets full. Just behind its front door is a waiting area where you will be served fish balls with sauce. You can also play chess, read books, and take photos. In terms of design, there's quite a lot to see - from the wall with colorful drawings to its unique drop lights. Lighting is sufficient and the place is air-conditioned. The
waiters are accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu as well. Speaking of menu, it is not yet updated as some of the dishes there had already been phased out.
We ordered lechon kawali kare-kare, crispy bicol express, and a pitcher of house blend iced tea. For the kare kare, we had the lechon kawali served separately from its kare kare sauce. For the crispy bicol express, we asked them to make the spiciness level tolerable. Both dishes were good, and yes, crunchy! The house blend iced tea is good as well, though nothing special about it.

who would like to try a different restaurant in Kapitolyo. Budget
needed
is about PhP350 per person on average. They accept cash and credit card
transactions. Table reservations are recommended as they only have a few tables. They are open daily from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Parking is available outside and across the street.
