Acer Liquid M220: Budget Windows Phone 8.1 Smartphone

At MWC 2015, Acer also unveiled an affordable Windows Phone 8.1 handset - the Acer Liquid M220. The Liquid M220 features a 4-inch display of WVGA resolution resulting in a pixel density of 233 ppi. Like its Android counterpart (Liquid Z220), the Windows Phone-powered smartphone is equipped with entry-level hardware, which includes a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB of expandable internal storage.

In the camera department, the Liquid M220 is equipped with a 5-MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2-MP front-facing unit. Connectivity-wise, it features dual-SIM support and 3G connectivity. It comes with a rather measly 1,300 mAh battery and the said smartphone is upgradeable to Windows 10 when the time comes. The Acer Liquid M220 will be available in April through selected retailers in the Europe, Afica, and Middle East region. It will be sold in Mystic Black & Pure White, with a starting price of just €79.
