Samsung has updated its Oculus-powered Gear VR headset with an Innovator Edition. The new Gear VR is compatible with the newly announced Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge and is 15% smaller.

The current Gear VR with Oculus technology can be purchased globally for $199 but is only compatible only with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phablet, This new Gear VR Innovator Edition headset will be compatible to the newly announced Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The headset also supports USB charging, which will allow for an extended usage time.
The Gear VR Innovator Edition will hit the shelves in April just in time for the Galaxy S6 release. Virtual reality content is available for download in the Oculus Store.
