HTC RE Vive: Virtual Reality Headset

HTC has joined the bandwagon and unveiled its first virtual reality headset called the RE Vive. This is HTC's take on the Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard. To come up with this VR headset, HTC has tied up with Taiwan-based maker Valve. The RE Vive headgear uses over 70 sensors and provides full, 360-degree room tracking. You can not only look around, but walk and experience the virtual plane, as well as interact "just like you do in the real world". The RE Vive offers a pretty nice 90 fps performance. The headgear comes with two separate VR controllers, functioning with a plethora of different "VR experiences".

Other popular partners are Google, HBO, Lionsgate, and the National Palace Museum in Taiwan, all of which will provide VR content for the HTC RE Vive.
