Lenovo Launches Tab 2 A10, Tab 2 A8 & IdeaPad MIIX 300 Tablets

At this year's MWC, Lenovo presented a trio of tablets, which includes two A-series tablets and one Windows Phone-powered slate. The most high-end among the three is the Lenovo Tab 2 A10, which packs a 10-inch LCD of 1080p Full HD resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek silicon with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. Considering it's just 8.9 mm thin and weighing 509 grams, Lenovo has managed to squeeze in a large 7,200 mAh battery inside it, good for up to 10 hours of uninterrupted usage. The Lenovo Tab 2 A10 is also the first tablet to feature Dolby ATMOS 3D sound. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box but will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop in June 2015. It will be available in April costing $199 for the base Wi-Fi model and $279 for the base LTE model. The tablet will be sold in Pearl White and Midnight Blue color variants.

Going down the ladder, we have the Lenovo Tab 2 A8, which has an 8-inch 720p Full HD IPS display, a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek 8161 processor with 1GB RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, and 4,200 mAh battery, which offers up to 8 hours of uninterrupted usage. Unlike the Tab 2 A10, this tablet runs Android 5.0 out of the box. It's also a Dolby ATMOS 3D-supporting device that's just 8.9 mm thin and weighing only 360 grams. It has a dual-SIM model as well, enabling both GSM voice and 4G LTE data, so it can be both a tablet AND smartphone. The Lenovo TaB 2 A8 will be available in June 2015 with Wi-Fi models starting at $129 and LTE models starting at $179. The color options are Pearl White, Ebony, Midnight Blue, and Neon Pink.
