Indian-Made Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime Debuts

Xiaomi has partnered with Foxconn to launch its first ever "Made in India" smartphone: the Redmi 2 Prime. The only difference it has with the regular Redmi 2 is the former's 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. Other than those two, the Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime packs the same 4.7-inch IGZO IPS display of 720p HD resolution, a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset, an 8-MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2-MP front-facing snapper. Connectivity-wise, it has Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, Wi-Fi, LTE and dual-SIM support. It runs MIUI out of the box.

The good news is that despite the upgrade in memory and storage, the Redmi 2 Prime will cost just $110. Any takers?
