Lenovo-Backed ZUK Z1 Now Official

Lenovo-backed smartphone manufacturer ZUK has now launched its first smartphone: the Z1. The ZUK Z1 packs a 5.5-inch display of 1080p Full HD resolution. It is powered by a dated Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC with an Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Imaging-wise, it comes with a 13-MP rear camera, which uses a Sony IMX214 sensor, with OIS and dual-tone, dual-LED flash. There is also an 8-MP front-facing camera with an OmniVision sensor.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual-SIM support, and a USB Type-C 3.0 port. There is also fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. A large 4,100 mAh battery will keep the phablet's lights on. The ZUK Z1 runs Android 5.1.1. Lollipop out of the box. It retails for $285 and will come in white and gray color variants.
