The ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition
Is ASUS the new Samsung as the former has been releasing a lot of variants for its flagship device - the ZenFone 2? In Brazil, ASUS has launched what is called the ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition. Like the previously announced ZenFone 2 Deluxe, the Special Edition of the phablet will also come with premium crafted polygonal design at the back. What makes it special is the fact that it will have 256GB of internal storage, which is still expandable via a microSD card slot of up to 128GB more.

Other than that, this Special Edition ASUS smartphone shares the features of the most spec'd-out ZenFone 2 available in the market. It comes with 5.5 IPS LCD of 1080p Full HD resolution, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Intel Atom Z3580 SoC with a PowerVR G6430 GPU and 4GB RAM. In the camera department, it comes with a 13-MP PixelMaster rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5-MP front-facing snapper. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, LTE, and dual-SIM, dual-active support. A 3,000 mAh non-removable battery will keep its lights on and it supports ASUS BoostMaster fast charging technology.

The ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition boots Android 5.0 Lollipop with the latest Zen UI on top. It will also come with an exclusive version of the racing game Asphalt 8. It will come in two color options: Textured Black and Illusion White. It will be available in September 2015 but there's no word yet on pricing and availability in other countries.
Til then...
