ZTE Blade A1 w/ Fingerprint Scanner, Only $93

ZTE has announced the most affordable smartphone ever that comes with a fingerprint scanner. Meet the Blade A1, which costs just $93 in China. Its fingerprint sensor can unlock the device in just 0.3 seconds. To sweeten the deal, it comes with midrange specs such as a 5-inch display of 720p HD resolution and a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 chipset with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. Imaging-wise, it has a 13-MP primary camera with LED flash and an 8-MP selfie camera.

ZTE Blade A1's connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, LTE, and dual-SIM support. A 2,800 mAh will keep its lights on and the handset runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with ZTE's proprietary UI on top. The Blade A1 measures 142 mm x 70.2 mm x 8.9 mm and comes in a glossy all-plastic build. Color options available are Smart White, Vibrant Yellow, Cool Blue, Dream Green, and Space Gray. There's no information yet if the smartphone will be released outside of China.
