Sparkle Christmas Party 2012
There is a saying that "your biggest competition is yourself." And that holds true for August as he managed to beat himself once again and his still amazing previous record (the Gothic Glam Halloween Party), and had come up with the Sparkle Christmas Party that is second to none when it comes to aesthetics, props, ambiance, and food (and drinks too). You have to see it to believe it. Soho Bar & Lounge has never looked this good...completely utterly good!Like before, the balloons are glued to the ceiling because they don't contain helium...but they are pretty, aren't they? And as usual, food and drinks are overflowing. From wine to cocktails to hard drinks to softdrinks...from cheese to salamis to nuts to fruits to chips...you name it, Soho Bar & Lounge has it.
Indeed, it was a sparkling Christmas for all of us who were lucky enough to have been invited. There were hints of gold, silver, and anything that sparkle everywhere. While people were eating, some were dancing. Others were smoking. And a few, they just won't stop eating. By the way, we also exchanged gifts and the one I received came from Ali. Thanks so much! So let's now see who wore the best "Sparkle" Christmas get-up that night.
As you can see from the photos below, we tried our best integrating something that sparkles to our outfit. There is this mardi-gras-inspired shiny beads that looked like a rosary on steroid. There is also this golden sun-visor that doubles as a necklace and a headgear. Some wore shirts that have shiny prints. But only one stood out and took home the bacon...
Ladies and gentlemen, the winner is none other than Ry! Wearing something so Christmas-y and not adhering to the "Sparkle" theme easily made him stand out and he was crowned Mr. Sparkle 2012. Lol! All that table cloth and blood-stained shorts paid off.
It has been our tradition to write out names on the patented acrylic wall to show our support for whatever celebration we may be celebrating. This day happened to be the Sparkle Christmas Party.
Below are more pictures of those who wanted. May I just inform you that these people are not for sale nor for hire so don't ask me what their names are.
And of course, here's a picture of me with my good old friends. They're the best ever!
Credit goes to Hudson for some of the photos.
Til then...
xoxo Nash
