Restaurant Review: DekA Authentic Thai Food

My friends and I were craving for some Thai food last weekend and our good friend, Mariel, suggested this new restaurant somewhere in Kalayaan Ave near Rockwell Center. It's called DekA. Mariel said that she read a review of the restaurant from Awesome Planet...and we wasted no time to try the food there.

Still on soft opening, DekA Thai Authentic Thai Food is located at 5887 Fermina St, Corner Enriquez St., Kalayaan Avenue Poblacion, Makati City. This is actually their second restaurant, the first being in another part of Makati. The place is very homy... it actually is a house converted into a restaurant.

For now, DekA still doesn't accept credit cards since they are still on soft opening. You can park just outside. They have a guard who can help you secure a parking slot outside. Dinner is from 5pm to 11pm daily.


Our order was taken by none other than the owner of the restaurant, Feb! She is half Pinay, half Thai. Yes, she is very pretty. Here's my picture with her below:


With regard to the food, yes, it's good. Considering I'm not the type who likes Thai food, their dishes are really good. Forgive me for not putting in their names as I'm not familiar with them. I just ate them...and ate them...and ate them.

This one is similar to Sinigang but a bit spicy

We also ordered noodles but wasn't able to take a photo of it. Overall, the place is cozy. The owner is very nice. The food is great. The price is competitive, considering it's in Makati City.
