Temple Run Arrives on Windows Phone 8

Temple Run has finally arrived on the Windows Phone 8 platform. No, I'm not joking. It's the original Temple Run, and not Temple Run 2, that just debuted on Windows Phone Store. This comes 1.5 years after its launch on iOS and exactly a year later on Android. The game is identical to the iOS and Android version but does not use the Xbox Live feature. It's just unfortunate to see Temple Run arrive too late on Windows Phone...and for the original version to have been released and not the new one. It must be noted that Temple Run is only available for Windows Phone 8 devices with at least 1GB of RAM so the game will be a no-go for entry-level WP8-powered smartphones.


The good news is that Temple Run isn’t the only game coming over to Windows Phone 8. There are also Chaos Rings, 6th Planet, Propel Man, Orcs Must Survive, Ruzzle, Fling Theory and Drift Mania Championship 2 coming over shortly. And then there is the new Gravity Guy 2, which will be launched on Windows Phone first before the other platforms.
