VIDEO: The Budget iPhone Leaks Again

Another weak, another leak. This is the case for the rumored budget iPhone. Among those previously rumored was its price tag, which is said to cost around $350, contract-free. It will also be made of plastic (with different colors to choose from) to differentiate it from its premium sibling and also to cut production cost. If this turns out real, the iPhone will have more ammo to battle it out with Android in the midrange smartphone category. So, what else is new based on the most recent leak?

According to a claim by Techdy, the budget iPhone will be plastic-shelled and will also come with a white variant. While it was said that it will be made of plastic, it isn't just any kind of plastic. It is polycarbonate to be exact, similar to the material used on the Windows Phone-powered Nokia Lumia. The Apple logo will still be at the back together with iPhone brand name. Rumor has it that it will be launched together with the iPhone 5S this fall.

Specs-wise, it will pack a 4-inch display. There's no word yet on the kind of display and the pixel density (Retina levels?). The Lightning port will be at the bottom, together with speaker holes, the 3.5 mm headphone jack, and microphone. The bezels are said to be thin as well, thinner than on any released iPhone to date.
