BBM Gets 20 Million New Users from Android & iOS

The BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) debuted on iOS and Android in late October 2013. In just more than a week, it has garnered 20 million more new subscribers from both platforms. Please note that these are active users, not just app downloads. With this user base, it can now directly compete with the likes of Viber, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, WeChat, iMessage, LINE, Kakao Talk, and Google Hangouts.
