Instagram Direct for Group Sharing

Instagram has introduced a new feature called Direct, which enables you to share your videos and photos to a select friends or a group of friends. Direct supports groups of up to 15 people. You will be able to access Direct from the Share To button from the Instagram app and from there select which friends get to see the photo or video. Everything you share through Direct is accessible in the Inbox, and not in the feed.

The Direct feature is part of the version 5.0 of the Instagram app that is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
