Samsung to Update Entry Level Devices to Android KitKat?

Earlier, Samsung has already made known (unintentionally) its plans of updating its high-end devices to Android 4.4 KitKat. These include the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note 3, and Galaxy Note II. In a surprising move, Samsung is also considering updating its entry-level and midrange devices to the latest version of Android. A leaked internal document shows that Samsung plans to update the Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy S3 mini, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy Core, Galaxy Fame, Galaxy Ace 2, and  Galaxy Fresh to Android KitKat but that is if they will run smoothly with the said Android version.

Android KitKat requires at least 512MB RAM to run properly on a certain handset. Meanwhile, Sony has announced early on that it is also considering updating to Android KitKat some of its midrange devices like the Xperia SP and the Xperia ZR.
