Polaroid Announces 4 Android Lollipop-Running Devices

Polaroid has unveiled two new Android Lollipop-running tablets and a trio of smartphones at the CES 2015. Starting off with the two tablets, named the L7 and L10, both will be affordable tablet offerings from the renowned camera company. The smaller of the two tablets is the Polaroid L7, which features a 7-inch screen while Polaroid L10 has a 10-inch screen. Both tablets are powered by unspecified quad-core processors. Both also have front-facing and rear cameras of unspecified resolution plus front-mounted speakers. Connectivity features are limited to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Moving on to the smartphones that Polaroid has unveiled, it must be noted though hat these smartphones are rebranded white-label China-made smartphones that have been tweaked. First is the Polaroid Flip, which packs an unknown quad-core chip together with 1GB RAM. It has speaker grills at the top and at the bottom of the smartphone. Up next is the Polaroid Selfie, which features a swiveling camera on top, very much like the Oppo N1 and N3. It has a 5.5-inch HD display with an unspecified octa-core chip and 2GB RAM. Both smartphones come preloaded with the Polaroid photo app, which tries to replicate the act of peering through a retro Polaroid's viewfinder. Both smartphones will run stock Android 5.0 Lollipop. Further information about their specs are scarce.
