The LG Band Play is an Android Lollipop-powered midrange smartphone, which caters to music aficionados. It is packed with a bass-reinforced 1-watt speaker for clearer and richer sound. The smartphone is also bundled with a pair of LG QuadBeat 3 earphones, which debuted along with the LG G4.

The Band Play packs a 5-inch display of 720p HD resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. It also features a 13-MP primary camera with an LED flash and laser auto-focus. It also has a 5-MP wide-angle front-facing shooter for selfies and video calls. Connectivity options include LTE, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB 2.0, among others. A 2,300 mAh battery will keep its lights on. The LG Band Play is quite svelte at 8.3 mm and quite light at 126 grams.

The LG Band Play will be available in South Korea for about $356 and will come in two color versions: black and white. There's no information yet on international availability.
