Acer Predator 6 and Predator 8 for Gamers

Acer announced two new gaming-centric devices: the Predator 8 GT-810 tablet and Predator 6 smartphone. The Predator 8 GT-810 tablet packs an 8-inch IPS display with a 1,920 x 1,200 pixel resolution and Predator ColorBlast tech for 100% NTSC color gamut. It is powered by an Intel Atom x7 processor with Intel HD graphics. It features 2x2 MIMO wireless technology, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n wireless, Dolby Audio Predator Quadio speakers, 64GB of internal storage, and support for microSD cards of up to 128GB. It is just 8.7 mm thin and weighs 350 grams. It comes pre-loaded with Asphalt 8 and 320,000 game credits. The Acer Predator 8 will be available on November 6, 2015 for a full retail price of $300.

Along with the Predator 8 gaming tablet, Acer also announced the Predator 6, which is a gaming-centric smartphone. Not much is known about it but it will probably have a 6-inch display and run on the MediaTek MTK6797 Helio X20 chipset with 4GB RAM. It will also feature a 21-MP primary camera. The Acer Predator 6 is outfitted with the same 4-speaker setup that can be found on the Predator 8 tablet.
