New Apple TV Comes w/ Siri & Remote
Along with the new iPhones and iPads, Apple CEO Tim Cook also unveiled the 2015 Apple TV. The new Apple TV is a set-top box with a mobile chipset and a brand new operating system. It packs an Apple A8 chipset to enable gaming and 32GB or 62GB on internal storage. There are several gaming titles available for the Apple TV and some of them make use of the Bluetooth-enabled remote (that comes with the Apple TV) like a Wii, as it has a built-in gyroscope and accelerometer. It runs the tvOS, which would enable the user to search content and watch videos easily. For this to work, Apple has partnered with Netflix, Hulu, HBO NOW, WatchESPN, and Showtime. Siri, Apple's personal assistant, is also present on the Apple TV. Through Siri, users can check stuff like weathers, scores of ongoing games, and movie information.Image by Apple |
