LG Ray: Affordable & LTE-Capable Phablet

LG has unveiled a new Android-powered phablet for those with a tight budget. Called the LG Ray, the phablet packs a 5.5-inch display of 720p HD resolution. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592M chipset with 1GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. There is a 13-MP primary camera at the back with LED flash and an 8-MP front-facing snapper.

The LG Ray has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G support. Sadly, LTE connectivity is a no-go. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with the LG UX on top. It will go on sale in the CIS region and Latin America.
