Alcatel Flash Plus 2 Invades Asia

Alcatel unveils the Flash Plus 2 in Southeast Asia - the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand... and interestingly in Monaco. It is an all-metal smartphone with a 5.5-inch display of 1080p Full HD resolution. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 chipset with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of expandable internal storage. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

In the camera department, the Alcatel Flash Plus 2 is equipped with a 13-MP rear camera with LED flash and phase detection auto-focus. It also has a 5-MP selfie snapper with its own LED flash. Among its connectivity options are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, LTE, and dual-SIM telephony. It also has a fingerprint scanner embedded inside the home button.  A 3,000 mAh battery, which supports fast charging, will keep its lights on.


The Alcatel Flash Plus 2 will be available in Luna Silver and Venus Gold color options and will retail for $160 for its entry-level variant and goes up to $190. Any takers?
