Affordable Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro & On7 Pro

Samsung has just launched two new affordable smartphones in India: the Galaxy On5 Pro and the Galaxy On7 Pro. Both are basically beefed up versions of the existing Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7. They both run Android Marshmallow with the latest TouchWiz UI on top. Both also come with LTE and dual-SIM support. Their differences are mainly in size and hardware.

The Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro comes with a 5-inch LCD of 720p HD resolution and is powered by a quad-core Exynos 3475 chipset with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. It also comes with an 8-MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5-MP front-facing shooter. A modest 2,600 battery will keep its lights on. To be available in black or gold, the Galaxy On5 Pro will retail for $137.

The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a larger 5.5-inch LCD of a paltry 720p  HD resolution. A quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset is under the hood together with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. It has a 13-MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5-MP selfie snapper. A 3,000 mAh battery will keep its lights on. The Galaxy On7 Pro will set you back $167.
