The story goes like this: Taking place in a Manhattan apartment building, Max's life as a favorite pet is turned upside down, when his owner brings home a sloppy mongrel named Duke. They have to put their quarrels behind when they find out that an adorable white bunny named Snowball is building an army of lost pets determined to take revenge.

The Secret Life of Pets is of action, comedy, family genre, which runs for approximately 87 minutes. It's Rated PG in most countries for action and some rude humor. It's a fast-paced, light, family-oriented movie. I think it was very enjoyable to see on the big screen. It's always interesting to find out what our beloved pets do whenever we leave the house... and this was exactly what the film tried to achieve and it was from the pets' perspective. Adults, children and those young at heart would surely appreciate this movie. Ultimately, The Secret Life of Pets would make you realize the joy of having pets and to those who don't have one, this movie could change their minds.
