Restaurant Review: Rue Bourbon

Rue Bourbon just opened a new branch in Eastwood City. It's still on soft opening. And its grand opening will be on September 20 (Thursday).

For those of you who are not familiar with the establishment, Rue Bourbon is a pub and restaurant that specializes in New Orleans Cuisine and wild exciting drinks. The name of the restaurant is French for "Bourbon Street."

Rue Bourbon specializes in oysters and wants you to try every oyster dish they have. While these oyster don't come cheap, you'll definitely want to try them. Since I'm allergic to shell food, oysters would be a no-no for me. Instead, we ordered some appetizers like fries and potato chips together with caramel beer to kill some time and have a good time.

Aside from oysters, Rue Bourbon also serves a long list of appetizers, many of which are finger food. They also serve soups, salads, and chowders. If you are really starving, you can try some of there entrees, which include a selection of fish, pork, and beef dishes. They also serve pizza, pasta, jambalaya, sandwiches, and burgers. And to complete your meal, why don't you indulge in their mouth-watering desserts like their Bourbon Oreo Cheesecake.

Like most pubs, the lighting of the place is dim. The music is loud but you'll definitely love their remixes of the latest pop, electro, and R&B songs. There are a lot of tables and chairs for everybody and even if the place is already jam-packed, the ventilation is still good. Just be wary of the stairs they have in their Eastwood branch since it's too steep. The dim lighting doesn't help either. As for the washrooms, it's one at a time for both the ladies and gents. So expect a line on its peak hours. Fortunately, the washrooms are equipped with running water, tissue, soap, and whatnot!

Visit Rue Bourbon Eastwood one of these days and you'll surely have a good great time! It is located at Eastwood Citywalk, Orchard Road, Brgy. Bagumbayan, Quezon City. Call them at tel. nos. (02) 5700984 and 0922 8623432. They also have branches in Fort Bonifacio and Salcedo Village (Makati City).

Note: Rue Bourbon did not pay me for this review.

Til then...

xoxo Nash

Cool blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog jump out. Please let me know where you got your design. Kudos
